Preguntas frecuentes Ocultar FAQ
Is the Atom Graphic 4 Suit FIA-approved for auto racing?
The Atom Graphic 4 Suit is certified to the FIA 8856-2018 homologation standard for auto racing driver clothing. Its protective construction includes a heat- and flame-resistant aramid outer shell and shoulder epaulettes designed to assist driver extraction after a crash.
Before purchasing for competition, check your series or event’s current racewear requirements rather than assuming homologation alone guarantees acceptance.
How does the Atom Graphic 4 Suit fit, and which size should I choose?
The Atom Graphic 4 Suit has a regular fit with anatomical arm, leg and torso paneling shaped for the seated driving position. The Black Silver Blue version is listed in men’s sizes 44–64, in increments of two, with an adjustable belted waist to refine the fit.
Compare your measurements with the Alpinestars size guide and check the suit with your intended racing base layers. In the driving position, you should be able to reach the controls without excessive pulling across the shoulders or crotch.
What materials and layers does the Atom Graphic 4 Suit use for flame resistance?
The Atom Graphic 4 Suit uses a two-layer construction with a 100% aramid twill outer shell and a soft knitted aramid lining. The outer shell provides heat and flame resistance, while the lining supports comfort and breathability.
Its specified fabric weight is 420 g/m²; this is the material weight per unit area, not the total weight of the suit. Flame-resistant construction does not mean the garment is immune to fire or heat.
How does the Atom Graphic 4 Suit support comfort and movement in the cockpit?
The Atom Graphic 4 Suit combines fully floating arms with stretchable knit fabric, pre-curved arms and legs, and aramid knitted stretch panels at the back, waist and crotch. These features reduce material resistance and support movement while steering and operating the controls.
The breathable lining, ergonomic collar with a soft stretch insert, and ribbed stretchable wrists and cuffs support driver comfort. Its heat-management approach relies on breathable materials rather than a claimed active cooling system.
