What types of gear are included in the Racing Sport India Collection?
This collection brings together racing and sport motorcycle gear for road and track-focused riding. Depending on current availability, you’ll typically find jackets, one-piece and two-piece suits, gloves, boots, helmets, and Tech-Air® airbag options designed for performance riding.
If you want to narrow your search by category, you can browse road jackets, road suits, road gloves, moto footwear, and Tech-Air® systems.
Is this collection designed for street riding, track riding, or both?
This collection is intended for both road and track use. Racing/sport gear is built around a more aggressive riding position, higher-speed stability, and stronger protection than casual or urban motorcycle apparel, making it suitable for spirited street riding, track days, and sport-focused road use.
Within the collection, material choice helps match the gear to your conditions. Perforated leather and airflow textiles are typically better for hot-weather riding, while waterproof sport-textile options are better suited to wet or changeable weather when available.
How should racing and sport motorcycle gear fit?
Racing/sport gear should fit close and secure rather than loose. When trying it on, check the fit in a riding position: the garment should not bunch excessively, armor should stay centered over the impact zones, and you should still be able to reach the bars and move freely.
If you plan to wear a back protector, chest protector, or Tech-Air® system, size the garment with that protection in place. Leather gear may ease slightly after break-in, but it should never feel so tight that it restricts breathing, circulation, or control inputs.
Are products in this collection CE certified, and what standards should I look for?
Many products in this category use CE-certified construction or impact protection. For jackets, pants, and suits, look for EN 17092 certification. For limb armor, look for EN 1621-1; for back protectors, EN 1621-2; for motorcycle gloves, EN 13594; and for motorcycle boots, EN 13634.
The exact certification class and protection level vary by product, so it’s important to check the product page for details. On garments, that may include Class A, AA, or AAA, while protectors may be Level 1 or Level 2 depending on the design and intended use.
Is this collection compatible with Tech-Air airbag systems?
Some racing/sport jackets and suits are specifically marked as Tech-Air® Compatible or Tech-Air® Ready. Those garments are patterned to work with Alpinestars airbag systems and should be matched using the stated compatibility information rather than assumed to be universal.
To confirm pairing, visit the Tech-Air® compatibility checker or browse Tech-Air® systems. If a jacket or suit is not listed, compatibility still needs to be verified against the garment’s available internal space and the intended airbag system.
