Cooper Webb kicked off his WSX SX1 in the best way possible with victory after a thunderstorm and heavy downpour brought an early end to the Main Event in Calgary, which was red-flagged.

This meant that the results from the opening two Sprint Races were combined, with Webb crowned the winner of the event.

Alpinestars rider Colt Nichols finished ninth.
