Jeffrey Herlings excelled on Italian soil, quickly gelling with the track at Maggiora Park, finishing third in the first Moto and winning the second Moto to take second overall.

He was joined on the podium by Jeremy Seewer in third.

Calvin Vlaanderen finished fourth, Glenn Coldenhoff sixth, Bernoit Paturel seventh and Andrea Bornacorsi ninth; all Alpinestars riders.
